Research Abstract |
We examined the S100A2/A4 mRNA level in human renal cell cancer (RCC) cell and resected human kidney specimen. S100A2 mRNA have been elevated in all five RCC cells and S100A4 mRNA were overexpressed in 2 RCC cells. But S100A2 mRNA was low level in human RCC tissue part. S100A2 level were increased in cis-platinum tolerated HEK(human embryonic kidney) cells. We suppose that S100A2 level is regulated by p53-status but S100A4 is not employed by p53.
