Research Abstract |
High salt diet up-regulates EDHF-mediated relaxation through the activation of BKCa in mesenteric arteries of Dahl salt-sensitive hypertensive rats. Up-regulation of EDHF compensates for the loss of NO to maintain overall endothelial function in salt-sensitive hypertension.
