Research Abstract |
In this study, we analyzed about iPLA_<2γ> gene knockout mice to investigate that the function of iPLA_<2γ> in vivo. We found that iPLA_<2γ> knockout mice showed remarkable phenotypes, growth retardation and muscle weakness. We further found that compositions of caldiolipin, a critical mitochondrial phospholipid, and other phospholipid subclasses were altered.
