Research Abstract |
Activation of the astroglia in trigeminal spinal subnucleus caudalis and upper cervical spinal cord 1/2 nociceptive neurons and increment in transient receptor potential vanilloid 1-positive neurons in trigeminal ganglion may be involved in the pain abnormalities in the whisker pad during the inferior alveolar nerve regeneration.
