現代では芸術文化実践に関して、ジャンルを超えた新しい文化の形式が生まれている。伝統芸術とデジタル映像文化の「形式の融合」や「異種コンテンツ」の協働が広がる中で、ジャンル間の境界の相互浸透や融解がどのように進行し、人々の文化実践や文化評価がどう変化しているかを解明する。異なる階層文化間を縦断する文化的オムニボア（文化的雑食）が増加し、文化による卓越化の戦略も変化してきた。伝統的な文化的権威の衰退の中で、現代の文化資本とは何か、文化的オムニボアと文化資本の関係、さらには文化による卓越化戦略や象徴闘争の実態を、文化実践とディスコースの変容を中心にビッグデータ解析も含む混合的研究法により解明する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have accumulated analyses that elucidate cultural disparities through hierarchical differences in cultural practices and tastes. Contemporary cultural pluralism has obscured cultural disparities with the increase of cultural omnivores. We have summarized global research trends on cultural omnivorousness and identified three different types of possible cultural omnivores. Quantitative research were also conducted, and found that the holders of lofty cultural capital were mainly middle-aged and older, while the knowledge-oriented emerging cultural capital was increasing, especially among young people. The big data analysis of Twitter revealed for the first time in the world that this information space is dominated by a network of hobbies in Japan. From interview data, we also elucidated the mechanism of cultural capital formation and the characteristics of athletic habitus.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
文化的オムニボア（文化的雑食）の社会的位置やそのハビトゥス、性向の解明は世界中で研究されてきたが複数の見解があり複雑化していた。これを理論的に整理しオムニボアの異なる3つのタイプの可能性を明確化できた。また文化評価調査から文化威信スコアの結果を得て過去の結果との変容を解明、また文化評価基準を初めて調査できた。文化実践の全国調査では、ハビトゥスに関する意識項目も調査し、新興文化資本の特徴を量的データで初めて把握できた。またSNS（Twitter）の情報空間全体をビッグデータ解析し意味を解読することで、この情報空間が趣味を中心としたネットワーク空間であることが世界で始めて明らかにできた。
