Outline of Research at the Start

数学や物理学の様々な分野に登場する多重ゼータ値について,その遍在性の理由の探求を,「複シャッフル現象の解明」という視点を中心に据えて研究を行うものである.より具体的な目標として,三つの副目的(I)モチビック-アデリック描像の深化, (II) q-化,楕円化による理解の深化と広角化, (III) 母関数を通した超幾何からのフィードバック,を掲げ,研究代表者,研究分担者,研究協力者が互いに協力しながら,背後に潜む共通の原理を明らかにするべく研究を遂行する.Broadhurst-Kreimer 予想やKaneko-Zagier 予想といった未解決問題への打開点を探ることも重要な課題である.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的概要は,数学や物理学の様々な分野に登場する多重ゼータ値について,その遍在性の理由の探求を,「複シャッフル現象の解明」という視点を中心に据えて研究を行うものである. その目的に向けて,本年度代表者は,村上拓也,吉原周と共同で,レベル2の有限多重ゼータ値を,和を素数pでなくp/2で打ち切ることで定義し,その色々な関係式についての結果を得た.複シャッフル関係式にあたるものの存在を特定出来てはいないが,レベル1では見られない興味深い関係が多数得られた.
分担者大野はSchur多重ゼータ値の双対公式およびその拡張について,Schur多重ゼータ関数のJacobi-Trudi公式を介することにより証明をした.Schur多重ゼータ値の複シャッフル構造は,積分側の理解が徐々に進みつつあり,今後が期待できる.
分担者古庄は,広瀬-佐藤の合流関係式とDrinfeldのアソシエータ関係式が同値であることを証明した.これは極めてインパクトの大きい結果であり,合流関係式から複シャッフル関係式が従うことは広瀬-佐藤が示しているので,逆を示すことが今後の課題である.

Reason

有限多重ゼータ値やSchur多重ゼータ値など,複シャッフル構造について十分な理解が得られていない対象についても,様々な関係式の発見や証明を通じ,古典的な場合との類似性や関係性に新しい知見が得られている.更には,一番大きな関係式族であると予想され,また理論的にも重要なアソシエータ関係式と同値であるような関係式族として,合流関係式を位置づけることが出来たことは,複シャッフル関係式の理解という面からも大変意義深いことであると考える.合流関係式は非常に具体的であり,そこから複シャッフル関係式が従うことの証明もある意味初等的である.この度の結果は今後の発展のための大きなマイルストーンとなると考えられ,目的の達成に向けて順調に進展していると判断する.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

引き続き,当初の研究実施計画に沿って,研究目的である「複シャッフル現象の解明」を主軸に据えつつ,申請書に記載した三つの副目的 (I) モチビック-アデリック描像の深化, (II) q-化,楕円化による理解の深化と広角化, (III) 母関数を通した超幾何からのフィードバック,に沿って着実に研究を遂行していく. ようやくコロナ前の,対面での研究打合せや研究集会が常態化してきている.人の派遣や招聘を通じて,代表者と分担者だけではなく,関連研究者との交流,議論を活発化させ,研究推進に資する.また,若手育成のための,短期滞在研究や,セミナーや研究集会での発表機会を意識的に多く設けていく.計算機を用いた実験による現象の発見にも引き続き努めていく.
