Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では体内環境と体外環境（内外環境）の撹乱を通じた、次世代影響の機構を解明する。申請者らは、低レベルのダイオキシンに暴露した母体の胎児および新生児に成長遅延が見られること、性未成熟が引き起されること、これらが、胎児期脳下垂体の成長ホルモンや黄体形成ホルモン (LH)の低下によることを見だした。本研究では、ダイオキシン次世代毒性の制御機構解明を目指す。さらに、成長後の性未成熟の鍵を握る胎児期の視床下部でのリポ酸含量低下を招くメカニズムの解明を行う。また、母体側の低育児体質、成長ホルモン低下の機構、リポ酸等による軽減作用を検証し次世代安寧に向けた防御策を提示することを目指す。
