Outline of Research at the Start

近年開発された液体クロマトグラフ/安定同位体比質量分析計（LC/IRMS）は水溶性成分の炭素安定同位体比の高精度分析を可能にした。その結果，様々な食品偽装を見分ける応用研究等が報告され始めている。本研究では，新たなLC/IRMSを開発し，ハロゲン含有成分である有機フッ素化合物の高精度分析方法の開発を目指す。有機フッ素化合物は，近年，残留性，蓄積性や有害性から地球規模での環境汚染が懸念されており，その環境動態把握とリスク評価が急務になっている。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

近年開発された液体クロマトグラフ/安定同位体比質量分析計（LC/IRMS）は水溶性成分の炭素安定同位体比の高精度分析を可能にした。その結果，様々な食品偽装を見分ける応用研究や食品中の成分の生成メカニズム解明の研究が報告され始めている。しかし，LC/IRMSは，低濃度域かつ窒素，ハロゲン含有成分は分析出来ない等，装置におけるいくつかの課題がある。本研究では，LC/IRMSの燃焼法を一般的な湿式燃焼法から，亜臨界状態の湿式燃焼法（亜臨界燃焼）に改良することで，ハロゲン含有成分である有機フッ素化合物の高精度分析方法の開発を目指す。有機フッ素化合物は，近年，残留性，蓄積性や有害性から地球規模での環境汚染が懸念されており，その環境動態把握とリスク評価が急務になっている。本研究では，これら成分にLC/IRMSを初めて適用し，環境中挙動を目的とした。
令和4年度の研究では，短鎖であるTFA，TCAをターゲットに各種分析条件を検討し，炭素安定同位体比を高精度に分析することを可能とした。

Reason

令和4年度は，短鎖である有機フッ素化合物の炭素安定同位体比の高精度分析のための基礎実験を進めることができた。また，さらにLC/IRMSの改良を進めることが出来た。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

令和5年度では，さらに有機フッ素化合物を収集し，それらの炭素安定同位体比の高精度，高確度が可能な成分の特定を行いたい。
