Outline of Research at the Start	江戸時代の流行歌は、三味線伴奏の小編歌曲であり、その歌詞は木版本に摺られて出版された。なかでも、歌舞伎を題材にした流行歌は、木版本の表紙に役者絵が描かれた。本研究では、流行歌の木版本を通して、歌舞伎の情報がどのように二次創作され、人々に共有されたのか、音楽・歌詞・役者絵の３要素から明らかにする。主な研究対象は、大阪大学附属図書館所蔵忍頂寺文庫の流行歌の木版本1300点である。
