本研究では、1年目に、海外の研究をもとに、日本人学習者の語彙力・リスニング語彙力・リスニング総合力の関連性を統計的にデータで明らかにし、２年目に、シャドーイングと語彙習得を理論的に組み合わせ、デジタル化対応型リスニング語彙指導法の仮説を立てる。３年目は、2年目の仮説を検証し、その有効性を明らかにする。４年目には、3年目の結果を理論とデータに基づき、追実験を行い、リスニング語彙指導法をどのように使えばどのような効果が出るかを明らかにする。

| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本年度は、昨年度から取り組んでいる、selective attentionを利用したリスニング語彙習得法としてのselective-shadowingの応用を開発し、論文を執筆した。実験では、2000語レベルのリスニング語彙を中心に構成されるリスニング(productive)語彙テストを実験前後に実施し、selective-shadowingの効果を測定した。5日間の短時間のselective shadowingを中心とした練習により、リスニング語彙の向上が見られたため、さらに、2000語レベル以外の語彙も含んだリスニング(receptive)語彙テストを用いても実験を行った。同様に、5日間の練習の前後でテストを行い、効果を確認したところ、向上が見られた。これらより、selective shadowingを用いる事で、productive, receptiveの側面から、リスニング語彙を強化できることが分かった。また、リスニング力とBottom up instruction・Strategy Instruction・proficiencyの関係についても調査した結果、Bottom up instructionとStrategy instructionの有効性とが確認できた。加えて、リスニング語彙と関係のある、学習者のリスニングにおけるエラー分析も行った。実験の一つでは、文章を聞かせてそれを書きとらせ、また、文章の内容理解も測定し、関係性を測った。もう一つの実験では、短文を聞かせ、確認されたエラーをphoneticとlexical/syntacticに分けて、分類した。いずれも、現在論文を執筆中。

2022年度に執筆したaural vocabulary, orthographic vocabulary, listening comprehension skillsの関係分析の追実験を進め、また、学習者のリスニングエラー分析を進める予定。
