| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究は，グループ企業の経営について研究することにより，日本企業の国際競争力の向上に寄与することをテーマとしている。
特に，日本において2000年代に増加した純粋持株会社制（HD制）に注目し，その成否を分ける要因は何なのかを解明することにより，今後HD制に移行しようとする企業に警告を発すると共に成功へのヒントを提言したい。
HD制を出発点に，企業集団の管理全般，組織再編による事業の選択と集中，サプライチェーン・マネジメント（SCM）などの課題も実態調査により解明したいと考えている。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We conducted case studies on holding company systems (HD systems), with a focus on the transition to a pure holding company structure and diversification strategies. In addition, we analysed corporate group management - particularly the relationships between Japanese headquarters and both overseas and domestic subsidiaries, methods of investment recovery in corporate R&D, and the intra-group allocation of R&D expenses - from a managerial accounting perspective. This analysis was based on independently aggregating data from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Basic Survey of Japanese Business Structure and Activities and Basic Survey on Overseas Business Activities.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究の成果として、学会報告を2022年度および2023年度の各１回行った。論文は、2022年度に1本、2023年度に2本、2024年度に1本の計4本執筆した。純粋持株会社制への移行と多角化戦略について成功要因を事例研究から明らかにしたこと、ならびに、経済産業省の「企業活動基本調査票」、「海外事業活動基本調査」を独自集計することにより、海外子会社からの投資回収方法や研究開発費のグループ内での負担について一定の知見を得られたことが本研究の学術的意義である。
