児童生徒の主体的な生き方を支え，格差や困難に立ち向かえるキャリア教育を実践する教師に求められる資質として，本研究では，児童生徒の困難さを包摂する視点，社会と自己と学びのつながりを見出す領域横断的視点，社会とつながる多様な人生役割を見取るキャリア観，発達段階を見取り見通しを立てる発達的観点に着目した。本研究の目的は，領域横断的視点から複数領域融合単元を開発・活用し，上記の資質の涵養によって，キャリア教育の指導力向上のための教師教育カリキュラム（教員養成・現職研修）を開発することである。本研究は，拡大する格差と混乱の中で切実に求められる，生き方の教育とされるキャリア教育の質向上に資するものである。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study conducted teacher training curriculum for improving knowledge, skills and attitudes of primary and secondary education students regarding career education. We defined career education as "an inquiry connecting oneself and society", and deliberated related key concepts, such as trends in education and human resource development for Society 5.0, key competencies, functional career education nurturing key competencies, self and agency, inquiry, self-regulated learning known as "proactive learning".
Based on these concepts, teacher education program for career education designed for students of primary and secondary education was developed. The program was implemented in teacher education subject, and suggestions for improving career education teaching skills were obtained.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究課題では，初等・中等教育におけるキャリア教育について，今日とこれからのキャリア教育の中核に接近することを目指し，教育・人材育成政策の動向の分析をはじめ，教育学，心理学，哲学，社会学等の関連領域の知見，および，先端的な海外事例の知見に学んだ。
関連する諸概念の整理，探究概念との繋留，キャリア教育教職科目における「二重性」概念の提唱と教職プログラムの開発・実践・評価，更には，エージェンシー概念との関連における教員養成の再考という，一連の研究成果を得た（学術的意義）。本研究で得られた知見は，これから本格化するであろうＶＵＣＡな社会を生きるための学びに資するという点において社会的意義が見出せる。
