| Outline of Research at the Start |
大学の音楽史教育（諸民族および日本伝統音楽）において、鑑賞にもとづき概説的知識を得る方法とは異なる「音楽体験にもとづく本質的音楽理解」を目指す教育方法論を構築する。
具体的には「ワークショップ型の音楽史の授業モデル」を構築し、授業モデルと成りうる映像教材を勤務校の教員および学生の協力を得て制作する。映像公開については個人情報やプライバシーの保護などに十分な配慮を行う。
大学の音楽史教育にとどまらず学校音楽科教育にも応用可能な体験型授業の方法論を探求する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The result of this research is video materials produced for music history education in colleges and universities. Ultimately, 18 video materials (works) were produced (available on YouTube as of June 2024 at the following URL: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdNMYFCaaiEF3V2slUqeaEA). The contents are: 1. traditional Japanese performing arts, 2. folk music, 3. Baroque music and recorder, 4. early Baroque Ciaccona, 5. Renaissance polyphony chorus, 6. Baroque harpsichord music, 7. Romantic piano music, 8. Baroque dance. It can be used not only for appreciation but also for workshop-type teaching.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究の成果は音楽史の映像教材制作とその完成、公開である。現在すでに18本の映像教材をYouTube上に公開している。一本が30分程度にコンパクトにまとめられた映像は、大学の音楽史教育にそのまま使用できることから今後、広く音楽史教育で活用されることが期待される。また、大学のみならず、小中高の音楽科の授業においても鑑賞教材として、また、ワークショップ型授業の方法提示の映像として参照されることが十分期待できる。
映像をもとに学生、生徒が自ら演奏する、踊るなどの体験をし、音楽の本質的理解に到達するというアプローチは、大学の音楽史教育と学校の音楽科教育に新たな体験型授業の可能性を開いたと言える。
