Outline of Research at the Start

グラフを頂点と辺からなる１次元の図形とみて、その３次元空間における形状を、伸縮自在な変形を許容するトポロジーの一分野である結び目理論の観点から研究する。知恵の輪の作り方や解き方などの工学上の応用や、ＤＮＡや高分子化合物のように柔軟な物質の研究への応用も視野に入れて研究する。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

任意の奇数ｋに対して、結び目解消数１で橋指数がｋである結び目を構成した。任意の奇数ｋに対して、種数１で橋指数がｋである結び目を構成した。結び目のデルタ結び目解消数は交点数の２次式で上から評価されることを示した。

研究時間は少ししかとれなかったが、インスピレーションのおかげで研究は進展した。
