Outline of Research at the Start |
Development of low-temperature solution methods for synthesis of ABS3 (BaZrS3, BaZrxT1-xS3, SrZrS3, CaSnS3) chalcogenide perovskites and explore their use in place of Pb-halide perovskites and achieve solar cells of high efficiency and longer stability.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Post-annealing of BaZrS3 amorphous powder synthesized by solvothermal method: As there was no furnace with controlled environment, heating of the BaZrS3 amorphous power synthesized by solvothermal methods was anyways carried out in muffle furnace in air at varying temperatures and for different durations. The products, as confirmed form the XRD, showed crystalline nature but oxidized to BaZrO3 while little peaks of BaZrS3 were also present.
