| Outline of Research at the Start |
既存の治療方法では治せない運動器の病気や外傷は多く、社会・スポーツ復帰に支障を来しております。近年、患者本人の血小板を採取・凝集し、治療に使用するPRP治療が開発され普及し、腱付着部症、靱帯症、陳旧性損傷など、手術を要せず治癒できるようになりました。しかし、この治療法にも限界があり、治せない病気や外傷はあります。本研究では、このPRP治療に、様々な細胞に分化する能力を持ち、脳梗塞や脊髄損傷の治療に応用され、入手が容易な幹細胞を併用した、革新的な治療法を開発するための基礎的な研究を行います。
