Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は歯数減少と認知機能低下との関連や口腔関連QOL低下と抑うつとの関連についての研究をさらに発展させ、地域一般住民（約4,000人）における咬合や義歯使用状況、歯周状態ならびに栄養状態と認知機能に関連する脳の形態変化との相互の関連を前向きコホート集団の5年間の縦断調査データを利用して検証し、「義歯の使用が栄養摂取の改善を介する認知症予防に有効であるか」のエビデンスを探ることを目的とする。
