Outline of Research at the Start

人口高齢化により歯科でも全身疾患をもつ患者(有病者)が増えている.歯科局所麻酔薬に含まれる血管収縮薬は循環器系の全身的偶発症における原因として重要である.なかでも不整脈は突然死の原因となりうるため,臨床的重要性が高い.しかし,血管収縮薬との関連におけるエビデンスは存在しなかった.そこで,致死的不整脈発生の重要な指標である心電図再分極過程の指標であるQT時間等と主要な局所麻酔薬の関連について,まず,実験的な解析を行う.その後,既存の1万例以上の有病者の実際の歯科治療における大規模データをベースに,不整脈発生頻度ならびに心電図QT時間等との関連について臨床疫学的に解析し,エビデンスを構築する.
