| Outline of Research at the Start |
外科的矯正治療の適応指標となる日本版Index of Orthognathic Functional Treatment Need (IOFTN)を策定するために、外科的矯正治療症例と歯科矯正治療単独施行症例を対象として、正面ならびに側面セファロ写真分析とCTデータを用いた三次元顎顔面形態分析から、外科的矯正治療と歯科矯正治療に振り分ける顎顔面形態の評価指標を検討する。顎顔面形態の評価指標を取り入れた日本独自の日本版IOFTN（案）を策定し、その有用性を協力の得られた多施設で検証する。検証結果を基に問題点の修正を行い、日本版IOFTN（案）として公開し、広くパブリックコメントを求める。
