| Outline of Research at the Start |
平成29年度基盤研究(C)「こどものセルフケアに着目した在宅支援モデルの検討」において、入院早期から取り組む在宅支援モデル案を作成した。本研究は、医療的ケアを必要とするこどもと家族に入院早期からセルフケアの維持・向上をめざした継続的な支援を行う在宅生活モデルを構築することを目的とし、以下の通り進めていく。
令和3年度は、NICUにおいて入院から在宅での生活が安定するまで、在宅支援モデル案を用いたアクションリサーチによる縦断的な支援を検討する。次年度以降、モデル案の評価・修正を行い、こどもにとって必要な中・長期的な在宅生活支援モデルの構築を目指す。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The aim of this research is to develop a home care model that utilizes the previously proposed model to provide continuous support for children and families requiring medical care, with a focus on maintaining and improving self-care from the early stages of hospitalization through a multi-disciplinary approach.
By focusing on the child's self-care, it becomes possible to share and implement assessments, support methods, and strategies by utilizing the expertise across various disciplines, while ensuring a unified understanding of the child’s situation. Additionally, by presenting appropriate support methods for parents and caregivers, it is believed that the rights and dignity of the child, as a person, can be protected.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
小児看護学においては、疾病や障害がどのような状況であってもそのこどもらしい成長・発達を視野に入れて支援することが求められる。しかし、重篤な疾病や障害のあるこどもの場合、医療者や家族を中心とした支援者が、どのような視点で支援することが子どもを主体とした支援となるのかを考えることが困難である。
本研究は、多職種間でこどものセルフケアに着目した支援を検討することで、それぞれの専門性を活かしながらこどもの捉え方やアセスメント、支援内容・方法を共有し、実践できると考えている。また、親・養育者の適切な支援方法を提示することで、生活者であるこどもの権利と尊厳を守る一助となるのではないかと考える。
