Outline of Research at the Start

Outline of Final Research Achievements

It has become clear that intergenerational exchange between the grandparent generation and child-rearing has a positive impact on both. For the grandparent generation, it serves as a support function for the elderly, and for the child-rearing generation, it serves as a child-rearing support function, reducing feelings of loneliness. However, current child-rearing support through intergenerational exchange is made possible by volunteer work from the grandparent generation, and the continuation and expansion of activities by the grandparent generation is an issue.s.Therefore, in order to support child-rearing that cannot be handled by the family alone, it is necessary to create a program that will have an impact on both the grandparent generation and the child-rearing generation, who are not related by blood. We will create a child-rearing support program that will increase the generativity of the grandparent generation and reduce the sense of loneliness of the child-rearing generation.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
