Outline of Research at the Start

Outline of Final Research Achievements
This research project aimed to visualize the impact of wearing personal protective equipment for infection prevention measures on assistants providing bathing care to the elderly in facilities and examine ways to implement these measures while considering the assistants' burden. The survey results revealed that assistants sometimes feel burdened when wearing masks to provide bathing care for infection prevention. To consider infection prevention measures that account for the burden on caregivers, it is important to check staff health during bathing care.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
