| Outline of Research at the Start |
新型コロナウイルス（COVID-19）蔓延により、全国の臨床教育施設でこれまで実施してきた対面型臨床実習、臨床見学などが困難となった。臨床実習による教育が停滞すると、今後の医療を担う人材が育たず、新たな医療崩壊につながることが懸念される。これらの社会的背景から、従来の臨床実習に遜色ない、Withコロナに対応した高度オンライン臨床実習システムを構築、提供することが、患者ならびに実習者の安全・安心にとって望ましいと考えられる。そこで、本研究では、従来の臨床実習に代替できる高度オンライン臨床実習教育システムの構築と、その効果の検証を行う。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed and evaluated an advanced online clinical training system adapted to the With-COVID era. By using the online training and materials we developed, students achieved higher scores and higher attainment rates of practical objectives on both written and oral exams compared to those who did not use the online training materials. It was considered that experiencing clinical situations through online materials, rather than passive learning in lectures, led to increased motivation and knowledge retention.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
COVID-19蔓延により対面型臨床実習が困難となった。臨床実習による教育が停滞すると、今後の医療を担う人材が育たず、新たな医療崩壊につながることが懸念された。これらの社会的背景から、従来の臨床実習に遜色ない、高度オンライン臨床実習システムを構築、提供することが、患者ならびに実習者の安全・安心にとって望ましいと考え高度オンライン実習の開発と検証を行った。オンライン実習の方法や意義を多施設で共有しCOVID-19流行期の臨床実習に貢献することができた。また、COVID-19非流行期でも対面実習では経験しにくい症例や手技の実習にも役立っている。
