Outline of Research at the Start	2004年以降中国は農業を搾取から保護の対象に転換し、一連の農業保護政策を実施した。しかし、保護の程度が年々強められていった結果、財政負担の増大、農産物の国際競争力喪失、農業経営の不効率性等の問題が深刻化した。そのため、これまでの農業保護政策は2016年に大幅な見直しが行われ、新たな農業政策が開始されることとなった。本研究は中国の農業政策の変遷を明らかにするとともに、農業政策の根拠に関する経済理論を明示する。その上で、新たな農業政策が農家経済に及ぼす影響を定量的に実証分析する。さらに、新たな農業政策の問題点を析出し、計量経済学的手法による政策シナリオを行い、中国農業の保護の在り方を検討する。
