Outline of Research at the Start

KRAS遺伝子は種々のがんで変異がみられる発がん遺伝子であり、KRAS変異型癌の治療標的としては変異RASタンパク自身や下流シグナル経路に加え、KRAS遺伝子変異に伴う代謝変化も治療標的として注目されている。本研究では、KRAS変異型胆管癌において、その代謝特性に着目し、メタボローム解析をはじめとしたマルチオミクスを用いた統合解析と臨床病理学的所見を融合させ、KRAS変異型胆管癌の代謝特性とその組織学的特徴により患者を層別化する。さらにKRAS遺伝子変異における代謝経路を標的とした治療標的分子の探索を行い、胆管癌の個別化医療に向けた新たな臨床的治療戦略確立を目指す。
