Outline of Research at the Start

The mechanisms of tactile spatiotemporal abnormality in the human somatosensory system are not fully understood. We acquire submillimeter functional magnetic resonance imaging data at 7T by examining the layer-specific activity in sensory input, integration, and reconstruction in the somatosensory cortex during a temporal order judgment task. These findings will not only reveal whether laminar disruption underlies the issues of abnormality tactile spatiotemporal processes, but also provide a locally precise intervention target for schizophrenia in disturbances of somatosensory functioning.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

人間の体性感覚系における触覚の時空間異常のメカニズムはまだ十分に解明されていません。
体性感覚機能障害は統合失調症の触覚時空間異常の重要な概念であると考えられていますが、層流中断がこの過程の基礎となることはまだ証明されていません。 本研究は、時間順序判断タスク中の時空間処理の皮質深さに依存する活性化を調査することを目的としています。 被験者が同時に取得したBOLD画像とVASO画像によって、デフォルト(交差していない手)またはリバーサル(交差した手)の体の姿勢を持つ階層フレームワークで触覚と固有受容感覚の信号を処理しながら、体性感覚皮質の層流活動パターンを識別します。 これらの発見は、時空間処理中の体性感覚野における層流特異性障害をもっと深く理解できるのみならず、体性感覚機能の障害における統合失調症の局所的に明確な介入標的を提供します。研究の成果:1.独自開発した触覚時空間知覚の脳内処理メカニズム実験装置を用いて、触覚時空間知覚の脳内処理メカニズム解明を進んでいる. 2.MRI環境の触覚記憶認知実験装置を用いて、触覚記憶の脳内メカニズム研究をすすんでいる. 3.大脳皮質の特有階層的な脳機能イメージング方法のキャリブレーションを実施している.4.研究に関する結果はSCI論文2本に掲載されました.
