Outline of Research at the Start

金属アレルギーは接触皮膚炎以外にも、扁平苔癬、掌蹠膿疱症、手湿疹、痒疹、アトピー性皮膚炎等、多くの皮膚アレルギー疾患に関与すると推測されている。しかしながら、金属 アレルギーの発症機序はいまだ不明な点が多い。
スプラバシンは重層扁平上皮で発現する分泌タンパク質の一つである。我々はスプラバシ ンが金属アレルギー発症に対して抑制的な効果を有する可能性を示した。本研究は、金属 アレルギー患者検体およびスプラバシン欠損マウスを用いて、金属アレルギー発症におけ るスプラバシンの機能とその作用メカニズムのさらなる解明を目的とする。
