Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、肺移植後の予後を悪化させる最も大きな原因である、慢性拒絶反応に寄与するB細胞のサブセットを明らかにすることを目的としている。またそれらのB細胞を抑制することで肺移植後慢性拒絶反応を抑制できるか、新規治療法の開発が可能であるかを検討する。
Outline of Annual Research Achievements	我々は、肺移植後の慢性移植肺機能不全（Chronic lung allograft dysfunction, CLAD)には、特異的なB細胞が関与していると仮説を立て、研究を開始した。 2021年度は、CLADの一型である閉塞性細気管支炎症候群（Bronchioritis obstructive syndrome, BOS) の動物モデルとして確立している、マウス肺内気管移植モデルにおいて、確かにB細胞が関与することを明らかにした。その結果を学術論文にまとめ、報告した（Suzuki Y et al. Annals of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. 2021) 。本年度は、同モデルをもちいて、特異的B細胞の特徴を明らかにするための実験を行っていた。具体的には摘出した気管が移植された肺から、RNAを抽出し、RNAシークエンスを行っていた。研究代表者の海外研究留学に伴い、年度途中で本課題研究を一時中断した。
