Outline of Research at the Start

PAWW法で作成した睡眠障害モデルマウスに、手術的に組織を障害することで痛みを誘発し、痛みの回復の遷延を評価する。治療薬または予防薬の候補と考えられる薬物を投与し痛みへの効果を評価する。さらに睡眠に関する遺伝子制御によって引き起こされる痛みへの影響を評価することによって神経学的機序の一端を解明する。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

複数の前臨床モデルを用いて、片頭痛様疼痛と睡眠の量と質に及ぼす潜在的影響を評価した。さらに、睡眠障害が片頭痛様疼痛に与える感受性の促進における影響を評価した。 睡眠障害マウスでは、全身ニトログリセリンまたは硬膜カルシトニン遺伝子関連ペプチドの閾値下投与により、片頭痛様疼痛と一致する眼窩周囲の皮膚アロディニアが誘発された。片頭痛様疼痛が睡眠を著しく阻害することはないが、睡眠阻害は片頭痛様疼痛に対する脆弱性を増加させることが明らかになった。
