Outline of Research at the Start

現代人の多くが自律神経失調症状に悩む一方、その治療としては、規則正しい生活を勧めるくらいしかなく、数百年前からほぼ進歩していない。その主な原因は、従来の解析手法の限界や、自律神経系の全容解明が進んでいないことにある。さらには、自律神経は脳の中枢から一律に集中制御されているという “ドグマ”が、真の姿の解明を阻んできた感がある。
本研究は、革新的新技術の開発により、従来の技術的課題を克服し、自律神経に関する既存の「一律・集中制御モデル」を「多階層・双方向制御モデル」へと大きく変革・転換することを目的とする。これにより、自律神経への新しい治療介入により人類に貢献することを目指す。
