Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は,研究代表者(大島純)と, Univ. of HelsinkiのProf. Kai Hakkarainen,Univ. of Wisconsin at MadisonのProf. David W. Shafferの研究チームがこれまで開発してきた知識創造型学習の分析手法が持つ長所と短所を適切に比較検討することで,総合的な知識創造型学習の評価の枠組みを確立する.そのために,同一のデータセットを共有し,それぞれの分析手法で分析し,その結果を議論する研究ミーティングで共有議論するサイクルを3年間展開し,最終的な知識創造型学習分析アルゴリズムを構築する.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は,研究代表者(大島純)が, Univ. of HelsinkiのProf. Kai Hakkarainen,Univ. of Wisconsin at MadisonのProf. David W. Shafferを国際研究協力者として迎え,3名で実施する.大島は,これまで学習者の対話場面で,共起する重要単語の関連性に着目した社会ネットワーク分析を開発し,知識創造実践の 「アイディアの変遷」を捉える分析手法を提唱している.Prof. Shafferのチームは,詳細なエスノグラフィー研究に基づく,対話のコード(文化的意味)の共起を ネットワークとして表象するEpistemic Network Analysisを提唱している.また,言語データと同時に表出される身体的行為や創出される人工物などを加味した 時系列分析の重要性をProf. Hakkarainenのチームは強調し,Making-Process-Rug Video Analysisを提唱している.これら,異なる分析アルゴリズムが持つ長所 と短所を適切に比較検討するためには,同一のデータセットを共有し,それぞれの分析手法で分析し,その結果を議論する必要がある.そこで本研究では,フィ ンランド,アメリカ,日本で展開する知識創造型学習の分析アルゴリズムの研究を,それぞれのチームが展開する実証研究で収集するデータを英訳して共有 し,各自の分析アルゴリズムで分析,その結果を研究ミーティングで共有議論するサイクルを展開し,最終的な知識創造型学習分析アルゴリズムを構築する.第三年度は成果発表のために結果をまとめる段階に入った.ISLSおよび,EARLI等のトップレベルの国際会議だけでなく,Q1レベルの国際誌での発刊を目指した共同執筆作業が進められた.その結果,国際会議での発表が採択されたほか,国際誌においても複数誌投稿まで完了し,現在査読結果待ちである.

Reason

成果発表に向けての準備が想定以上に時間を要し,その結果が年度内に明確化できなかったために,研究期間を延長し,令和6年度内で国際誌を含めた成果の発表を完了させる.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

国際会議における成果発表は,定期的に進捗しておりこのまま継続していけば問題はない.国際誌においても,本研究課題については,テーマに沿った特集号での事前審査を通過しているので,内容の精査を踏まえて結果に結びつけられるであろう.
