Outline of Research at the Start

我々は、バックコンタクト型ペロブスカイト太陽電池の実現を目指している。これを達成するには、正孔と電子を個別に捕集するp層とn層交互配列構造の構築が必須であり、低コスト化のために我々のオリジナル技術である斜め蒸着による交互配列構造の作製を始めている。しかしながら、製膜条件、太陽電池の作製条件など膨大な数のパラメーターを検討する必要がある問題があった。本提案の国際共同研究では、ペロブスカイト太陽電池のデバイスシミュレーションの第一人者(海外)と、計算に必要な情報を得るための膜物性評価の専門家(海外)との共同研究を通して、試行錯誤を必要としない短期間で最適化する新たな研究手法の確立を行う。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

国際共同研究先であるカナダクイーンズ大学Nunzi教授が来学されて、国際共同研究の打ち合わせや国内開催の国際会議でも情報収集などを行い、国際共同研究の今後の計画や進捗状況の確認を行った。今後は、相手側研究者の来学と国内メンバーの海外訪問を活発化することを確認し、共同研究の体制についても確認を行った。さらに、研究代表者の當摩教授,若手研究者のMd. Shahiduzzaman助教,博士課程1年の学生と,カナダクイーンズ大学Nunzi教授の研究室を訪問し,クイーンズ大学での研究についての説明と議論を行った。本年度は,10報の国際共同研究論文の発表を行うことで,国際共同研究の推進を行うことができた。研究内容として,高価なフォトリソグラフィー技術を用いないで,簡便かつ低コストなp層とn層の交互配列構造を完成させ,従来のサンドイッチ型ペロブスカイト太陽電池に代わるバックコンタクト型ペロブスカイト太陽電池の実現を目指すことを目的としている。本年度は,実際に真空蒸着技術を用いて,バックコンタクトが可能となる薄膜構造をパターン化できるか実験を行った。シャドウマスクを通して段階的に薄膜を形成することに成功している。ペロブスカイトを除く各層の厚さは100 nmであり,クラックや欠陥は見られなかった。このことは,真空蒸着法により,均一なパターン化された薄膜を形成できる可能性を証明している。断面SEM像観察では,200μmのギャップと幅を持つ電極ギャップを使用した場合,非常に精密なバックコンタクト構造に近い構造の構築を確認できた。
