Research Abstract |
By using a poly-crossed population, genomic selection was successfully demonstrated in red clover, which showed linkage disequilibrium decay in short distance among unrelated lines. In addition, we have developed an advanced GS algorithm named EGGS (Ensemble-based Genetic and Genomic Selection) that chooses a set of markers for investigation of Breeding score
