Research Abstract |
Some brominated flame retardants were converted to the active metabolites which are related structures to thyroid hormone. These active metabolites showed higher affinity to thyroid hormone receptor and related nuclear receptors, and inhibited thyroid hormone dependent protein function-regulating factor, protein disulfide isomerase and thyroid hormonal level-regulating factor, iodotyronine deionidase.
