In this study, small-sized aggregates (20-50 nm) or individual carbon nanohorns (S-CNHs) have been successfully separated from 100 nm pristine CNH aggregates (L-CNHs) by oxidative exfoliation with a high yield. The obtained S-CNHs were functionalized by u
