Research Abstract |
We tried to apply DNA barcoding technique to the ecological risk assessment and management of exotic pet insects such as beetles, butterflies, water bugs and dragonflies by identifying the place of their detailed origin, and by identifying their larvae and female adults having typically fewer diagnostic characters than male adults.
