Research Abstract |
This study aims to investigate complex livelihood and its contemporary caracteristics under variable climatic conditions of African semi arid land. As a result of field survey and literature search, diversification of livelihood was confirmed.Diversification livelihoods means mainly, introduction of animal feeding, wage earning by gold mining and fishery in dry season at ponds and seasonal rivers. Intoroduction of animal feeding is a result of southward migration of pastoralists which had stared since 1970s because of drought.
