| Research Abstract |
By investigating and collecting data of relevant literature required for elucidating the World of Izumo waka Poetry, such as " Sakusyaseimeiroku " the Appendix of the title anthology of waka poems of the second half of Edo and " Unyojinbutsushi," possessed by Shimane Prefectural Library, person information including family names, nicknames, positions, locations, blood relationships, master- pupil relationships, etc., was extracted. The information is of poets who constitute the World of Izumo waka Poets. Making use of secondary sources, I put a certain amount of information in order, mounted it in a database system, and built the poet database which constitutes the World of Izumo waka Poetry of the second half of Edo. With the database, I researched on the actual condition of the World of Izumo waka Poets.
