Research Abstract |
This research aims to clarify how Leon Walras sought to compatibility of efficiency in his pure economics and social equity in his social economics. For this purpose, we focuses on the continuity between Auguste (his father) and Leon ‘s two concepts of rarete (scarcity) in their intentions. Even after Leon Walras gave to his father’rarete a new definition as marginal utility, he continued to believe it to be a theoretical basis for the justification of nationalization of land like his father all his life.
