| Research Abstract |
How should we understand the right place of sex in pluralist normative social theorizing? This study attempts to answer this question by constructing a public social vision built on John Rawls’ s political liberalism. Reconstructing and extending Rawls’ s theory, it presents public reason regarding controversial issues in concrete social-institutional settings: the logic of workplace anti-discrimination, alternative family forms, and the right place of sex in political representation.
