Research Abstract |
This research began with describing high anxiety scores, and high Alexithymia scores in the twelve cases of adolescents and adults with Asperger‘s syndrome. We did not assume their traits of cognitive dysfunction as their limited individual ability, but tried to describe their somatic states of high vigilance. Then we conducted the Progressive-Muscle- Relaxation to show the effects of reducing anxiety and the activation of parasympathetic nervous system. In addition, an assessment study was made for young childhood.
