Research Abstract |
Natural gas hydrates contain light alkanes, CO_2, and hydrogen sulfide. These guest gas components decide crystallographic properties of natural gas hydrates. This study showed results of gas analysis andcrystallographic characteristics not only for natural samples retrieved at Lake Baikal and off SakhalinIsland, but also for synthetic mixed-gas hydrates, to clarify the effect of multicomponent gases on stability of natural gas hydrates.
