Research Abstract |
The two-dimensional growth of heavy element atoms on crystallime metal surfaces has been investigate and the coverage and compositional dependences of the atomic arrangements have been revealed using low-energy electron diffraction and scanning tunneling microscopy. Electronic structure near Fermi energy has been evaluated by using the first-principle calculations.
