Research Abstract |
In order to develop effective control method for heat and mass transfer and mixing in engineering applications, we investigate multiple jets which areassembled with a number of jets using high accurate numerical scheme, a mixing-state evaluation technique based on a statistical entropy and a low-dimensional technique based on both POD (proper orthogonal decomposition) method and DMD(Dynamic Mode Decomposition)method. A vector control of nozzle is proposed and applied to the mixing enhancement of free jets and it is found that the proposed methods lead to the improvement of the mixing performance. Further multiple impinging jets are controlled and their characteristics of mixing performance are turn out.
