Bioorganic research on biologically active natural products have been achieved. 1. Isolation and structure elucidation: the Canadian and Japanese yews, kaya tree, plant Achille, plant Inula, fungus Aspergillus. 2. Synthetic studies: echinopines (plant terpenoids), maoecrystal V (plant terpenoid), cortistatins (marine products) and EI-hybrids A-D, JBIR-23 (antibiotic), platensimycin (antibiotic),enacyloxins (antibiotics).
