Research Abstract |
We established following methods and procedures (#1-#3) to elucidate detailed features and mechanisms of growth in bamboo plants. #1; Establishment of a novel practical protocol for particle bombardment-mediated transformation of Phyllostachysbamboo suspension cells and its utilization. #2; Establishment of a novel xylogenic suspension culture model for exploring lignification in Phyllostachysbamboo and its utilization. #3; Establishment of node culture systems of several bamboo species for functional analysis.
