Research Abstract |
As a fundamental research for drug discovery based on environmentallybenign syntheses(e. g. catalytic, cascade, and atom-economical reactions), short-step syntheses of biologically active natural compounds were investigated. This study has reached the original goal by completion of successful total syntheses of biologically active ergot/isoquinoline alkaloids and sphingolipids using divergent and short-step approach.
