Research Abstract |
Cell division is tightly regulated in order to prevent cancers, cancer progression and cell death. In this study, we showed that tyrosine phosphorylation signaling by Src-family tyrosine kinases is important for regulation of mitotic spindle formation. In addition, cytokinesis fails upon an increase in Src activity, resulting in generation of binucleated cells.
