Research Abstract |
Adipose tissue-derived stem cells (ASC) can differentiate to various kinds of cells including vascular cells. In the present studies, we showed that ASC were able to be introduced to vascular endothelial cells, and that ASC suppressed neointimal formation caused by vessel injury. ASC also improved the cavernous function. These effects were caused by paracrine effects of ASC.
