Research Abstract |
We employed shotgun proteomics together with peptide labeling technology to analyze comprehensive protein expression profiles of malignant pulmonary mesothelioma (MPM) and lung cancer and hundreds of candidate marker protein have been identified. Thus, our findings demonstrate that the combined proteomic technology is an efficient strategy for global proteomic analysis to discover novel biomarkers. We have applied two patents according to our observations.
